Finn (John Boyega)

Now onto the new main characters in The Force Awakens which will be the topics of my next couple of posts. In Star Wars The Force Awakens Finn is played by John Boyega and I'm just going to say this right off the bat John Boyega did an amazing job playing Finn in The Force Awakens. Finn is the first character we see in trailer 1 for The Force Awakens in the desert of Jakku in Stormtrooper armor then in later trailers we see Finn using Luke Skywalker's (Mark Hamill) lightsaber. Then in other trailers we learn he was a First Order Stormtrooper and in the movie we learn that his number was FN-2187. In my opinion he was the best new character for The Force Awakens. I loved how he just easily he fits in to the Star Wars galaxy it kind of felt like he's alsways been in Star Wars I mean he just lived the part as Finn. I loved his back story how he wa stripped from his family as a baby and trained to be a First Order Stormtrooper and that's all he's ever known and in his first battle, Jakku he see's how the First Order really is and he turns down an order he and his fellow troopers were given to kill the civillians. During that battle the First Order captures Poe Dameron (Osscar Isaac) the Resistance' best pilot. Well on the star destoyer they're on FN-2187 finds Poe and tells him he's going to get him out of here and Poe asks him why and FN-2187 just looks at him and says because its the right thing to do. So long story short they make their way to a Tie Fighter and they both get in it destroy the hanger and fly out and when they're flying off Poe gives FN-2187 the name Finn. So right in the begining of the movie Finn and Poe become real good friends. Just through the whole movie Finn is just awesome I can't wait to see him in episodes 8 and 9 he's easily my favorite new character tw thumbs up to John Boyega as Finn.
